Make More of Your Canopy Roof

Canopy Roof Racks, Load Bars, Cantilever Extensions & Rear Rollers

From long gear for work to a rooftop tent for weekends away, the right roof rack setup helps you make better use of your ute.

Canopy Roof Rack Options: Make More of Your Ute

Your canopy roof is valuable carrying space. Whether your ute is set up for work, weekends away or a bit of both, a roof rack gives you more options for carrying gear while keeping storage available inside your canopy.

M2 Overland roof rack options cater to tray-mounted and wellside canopy setups. Start with a roof rack, then add a cantilever extension for support over the cab or a rear roller to help load long gear.

Here’s a closer look at what each component adds.

The Starting Point

Our canopy roof racks use laser-cut, folded and powder-coated aluminium construction, creating a practical platform that runs the length and width of the canopy top.

For work vehicles, that means additional space for equipment above your enclosed storage. For touring setups, rooftop tent compatibility opens up another way to use the space.

The rack also provides the foundation for the Cantilever Rack Extension and Rear Rack Roller, allowing you to configure your setup around the gear you carry.

Roof rack features

  • Laser-cut, folded and powder-coated aluminium construction.
  • Coverage across the length and width of the canopy top.
  • Rooftop tent compatibility.
  • Compatibility with the Cantilever Rack Extension and Rear Rack Roller.
  • Flat-packable design for freight.

The Artemis Roof Rack has a 200kg evenly distributed load rating. Confirm the rating and accessory compatibility for your particular canopy and rack combination when planning your setup.

‍

Cantilever Rack Extension: Support Over the Cab

Long gear can reach beyond the canopy roof. The Cantilever Rack Extension bolts to the front of a standard roof rack, extending forward to provide additional support over the cab.

It’s a useful addition for owners regularly carrying longer items that benefit from support further forward.

The extension can be flat-packed for freight, making it practical to transport alongside the main rack.

Adding an extension increases the support area; it does not increase the roof rack’s load rating.

Rear Rack Roller:

Help Loading Long Gear

Getting long gear onto a roof rack can be awkward, especially when you’re loading from the back of the ute.

The Rear Rack Roller provides a rolling contact point to help guide long lengths onto the rack. Mounted at the rear, it runs across the width of the roof rack.

Its galvanised construction makes it a practical addition for tradies and service crews who regularly carry long materials or equipment.

Pair it with a Cantilever Rack Extension for loading assistance at the rear and additional support over the cab.

Load Bars:

A Lightweight, Cost-Effective Option

Our Load Bars offer a lightweight, cost-effective way to carry gear above your canopy. Two separate cross members mount securely to the canopy top, providing a versatile base for ladders and other essentials.

They can also be paired with our rooftop tent mounts, making them a practical option for work and weekend setups.
